The Rubinek variety belongs to the spring form of barley. During agronomic studies conducted between 2008 and 2010, the resistance of this variety to delayed sowing was noted, during which it maintains a stable number of ears.
In Poland, this barley variety is primarily grown for feed purposes and is less frequently used as industrial raw material. Detailed morphological characteristics, such as precise plant height or disease resistance ratings, are absent in public publications.
