The variety is a two-row barley of Bulgarian breeding. In scientific studies, it is used as an object of cellular engineering to study the efficiency of callus formation and plant regeneration under laboratory in vitro conditions.
The variety possesses a high capacity for callus induction, reaching 72.2% for immature and 97.8% for mature embryos. High regeneration rates have also been recorded, amounting to up to 13.3 plants per embryo.
Data on agronomic characteristics, such as maturity group, plant height, disease resistance, or grain productivity, are absent in open scientific publications.
