The variety is a six-row hulled barley with relatively low growth. The plant is characterized by a short straw, the height of which is about 63 cm, which distinguishes it from a number of local Greek samples.
The variety possesses good adaptation to a wide range of soil and climatic conditions of the Mediterranean region. During scientific observations, the variety did not demonstrate pronounced resistance to powdery mildew.
The grain is used in agriculture, including research on the content of biologically active components, such as β-glucans, for functional nutrition. The variety also serves as an object of scientific research, including in studies of the influence of mycorrhizal fungi on crop productivity.
