The Trikomo barley variety was created as a result of breeding work conducted with the participation of international centers CIMMYT and ICARDA. The initial material for crossing included local adapted samples and promising imported lines.

This variety is intended for forage use. Information regarding specific morphological traits, resistance to lodging, disease resistance, and detailed grain quality characteristics are not presented in available publications.
