The variety belongs to the Colorburst series and is the result of interspecific crossing of Echinacea purpurea and Echinacea paradoxa. The plant reaches a height of 60–70 cm and has a well-branched bush with green foliage.

The inflorescences are large and fragrant; their central part changes color from greenish to orange as they mature. The variety is characterized by high growth vigor, winter hardiness in USDA zones 4–9, and resistance to lodging. It shows moderate resistance to powdery mildew but is sensitive to leaf spot and root rot.
