The plant height ranges from 0.4 to 0.86 m depending on growing conditions. It has a compact shape with good branching. The inflorescences are large, solitary, consisting of bright red ray florets and dark ochre or dark red cones.
The variety is intended for ornamental gardening. It shows resistance to drought and deer damage. Obtained as a result of breeding from an Echinacea hybrid (651-01) and the variety Purple Emperor.
