Variety description

The plant forms dense clumps 30 to 80 cm in height, most often 40–60 cm. It has dark green lanceolate rough leaves and sturdy, well-branched stems resistant to lodging.

Large flowers with a diameter of 10–12 cm have a brownish-burgundy central cone. Flowering lasts from July to September. The variety possesses high heat and drought tolerance, as well as winter hardiness corresponding to USDA zone 4 (down to -29...-34°C).

Used in border plantings, mass plantings, and container gardening; suitable for cutting and attracting pollinators.
