The variety is a perennial herbaceous rhizomatous plant 60–70 cm tall. It forms a dense, compact clump with strong vertical stems. The inflorescences are 8–10 cm in diameter, pompon-shaped, pale yellow with a greenish center, and fragrant.

The plant is intended for landscape design and cut flowers. It is characterized by drought tolerance after establishment and high winter hardiness, corresponding to USDA zones 4–9. The variety is vegetatively propagated.
