The RT 392 rootstock is an interspecific hybrid of Solanum lycopersicum × Solanum habrochaites. Its use is aimed at increasing plant resistance to abiotic stresses, including drought, salinity, and temperature fluctuations, as well as to soil-borne pathogens.

The plant is not intended for fruit production; therefore, detailed morphological characteristics and fruit quality indicators are not publicly available.
