This hybrid is the result of crossing a cultivated tomato with the wild species Solanum habrochaites. It is intended for use as a rootstock for greenhouse tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, and potatoes.

Grafting onto this rootstock contributes to increased yields of cultivated varieties and provides plants with resistance to cold stress. The plants are characterized by the stability and uniformity of their morphological traits.

Technical documentation indicates a lack of resistance to certain races of Verticillium and Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici, which must be taken into account when choosing this rootstock for cultivation.
