The rootstock has a moderately low growth type and promotes the formation of an open habit in grafted plants, which ensures better light penetration and aeration during the winter period. It possesses good compatibility with cultivated varieties and does not affect the qualitative characteristics of the scion fruits.

The plant possesses high resistance to tomato mosaic virus, tomato spotted wilt virus, Fusarium wilt, Fusarium crown and root rot, corky root rot, and Verticillium wilt. Intermediate resistance to Meloidogyne species nematodes is also noted.
