Variety description

The plant is a deciduous shrub 1.2–1.5 m tall and 0.9–1.2 m wide. The main feature of the variety is its dark green, deeply incised leaves with irregular lobes, creating a lace-like texture effect.

Lacecap type inflorescences have a flat or slightly domed shape, consisting of small fertile flowers in the center and larger sterile ones at the edges. The color of the inflorescences is white. Flowering occurs from June to August or September on current year's growth.

The variety has winter hardiness down to -25°C (USDA zone 4). Leaf scorch is possible when grown in bright sun, and foliage ornamental value decreases under drought conditions. The plant is used in ornamental gardening as an accent crop.
