The shrub reaches a height of about 120 cm and a width of 80 cm. A distinctive feature is the dark stems, which contrast with the dark green foliage. The plant is characterized by abundant flowering with double flowers.

Inflorescence color varies from pink to blue depending on the soil pH level; shade transitions to red are possible during the season. The variety is suitable for growing in containers, mixed borders, and solitary plantings, and possesses winter hardiness in USDA zones 6a–10.
