Variety description

The plant is a densely branched shrub with ovate, bright green, serrated leaves. Shrub height in open field is 1.0–2.0 meters, in containers — 70–120 cm. Shrub width reaches 1.0–1.5 meters.

Inflorescences are globose, 20–25 cm in diameter. Flowers are pink or purple with a white margin along the petal edges; on acidic soils, petals may acquire a violet hue. Flowering is prolonged, from June to September or October.

The variety prefers partial shade, moisture-retentive fertile acidic or slightly acidic soils. Possesses moderate winter hardiness (zones 5–6, down to -20...-23°C), requiring coverage to protect flower buds. Shoots are upright, the plant is resistant to diseases.
