Variety description

The variety is a compact rounded shrub 90–120 cm in height and width. Leaves are glossy, dark green, with serrated edges, turning a light burgundy hue in autumn.

The plant belongs to the "mophead" group with dense globular inflorescences. Flowers are bicolored: pink-red with a characteristic white margin, and may have a light green tint at the beginning of flowering. Flowering occurs from July to August on the previous year's shoots.

The variety is adapted to USDA hardiness zones 6–9. The plant can be susceptible to bacterial wilt, leaf spot, powdery mildew, and bud rot, and is occasionally attacked by aphids.
