Variety description

Compact shrub reaches a height of 1.2 to 1.5 m. The flowering period occurs from July to September. Inflorescences are large, flat or hemispherical, 20–25 cm in diameter, consisting of pale pink flowers with rounded sepals featuring lacy or serrated edges.

Leaves are large, ovate, bright green, with a textured surface and orange petioles visible from early spring. By the end of summer, the foliage may acquire a bronze hue. The variety is thermophilic, requires winter protection, is sensitive to soil acidity, and does not tolerate lime in the soil.
