The plant forms a compact shrub about 1.2 m in height and width. The leaves are broad, ovate, dark green, while young shoots and leaves have a purple tint, which persists or becomes crimson in the autumn period. The plant's shoots are strong, which allows the shrub to maintain its shape.

The flat lacecap-type inflorescences consist of large sterile flowers. During the flowering process, they change color from white to pale pink, and then to deep pink. Flowering is profuse, continuing from June to July; the variety is characterized as reblooming.

The plant is suitable for group and solitary plantings in the garden, as well as for growing in containers. The variety shows resistance to diseases and possesses strong shoots. Winter hardiness is estimated in the range from -15°C to -25°C, while the plant requires covering in regions with severe winters.
