Variety description

The variety belongs to the lacecap hydrangea group with flat inflorescences 15–20 cm in diameter. In the center of the inflorescence are small fertile florets of lilac or pinkish shades, surrounded by large sterile white florets. The plant's leaves are large, glossy, dark green with a serrated edge.

The shrub is upright, spreading and dense, reaching 100 cm in height and up to 150 cm in width by the age of ten. The flowering period lasts from July to September. The variety prefers acidic, moderately moist soils and requires protection from direct sunlight.

The plant is used in single and group plantings, as well as in mixed borders. It should be noted that the name Dragonfly is also applied to a Bergenia variety series, therefore when purchasing seedlings it is necessary to verify the botanical name of the species.
