The shrub reaches a mature height of 1.8 to 2.0 meters. The variety belongs to the group of hydrangeas with flat inflorescences, consisting of numerous fertile flowers resembling lilac flowers of a lavender-blue shade, and larger sterile flowers along the edges.

The plant's flowering period occurs between July and September. The shrub prefers partial shade, while the color of the inflorescences may vary depending on the soil pH level. Winter hardiness is rated as good; the variety withstands temperature drops down to -12 °C.
