Variety description

The plant is a compact shrub, reaching about 125 cm in height at ten years of age. The shoots are upright and strong, resistant to lodging. The leaves are green, oblong-ovate in shape.

The inflorescences are corymbose, umbellate, reaching 22 cm in diameter. Flowering continues from July to September. The marginal flowers are large, entire, sometimes with a heart-shaped edge. The primary flower color is bright red; however, when grown in acidic soil containing aluminum, they may acquire blue or violet shades.

The variety has good winter hardiness, but in the conditions of the central region, it requires protection for the winter. The plant is quite resistant to diseases and pests. Suitable for solitary and group plantings, creating hedges, and growing in containers.
