Variety description

The shrub has a compact crown, erect shoots, and dark green glossy serrated oval leaves. The variety requires the preservation of woody shoots during the winter period, as flower buds are set on the wood of the previous year.

Flowering lasts from July to autumn. Inflorescences have a flattened or hemispherical shape. The color of the flowers depends on the presence of aluminum and soil acidity: on acidic soils they acquire a blue tint, on alkaline ones — a rich purple. The plant has moderate winter hardiness and requires covering.

The variety is suitable for single and group plantings, creating borders, growing in containers, as well as for cutting and keeping as a houseplant.
