Variety description

The plant forms a bushy habit 0.9 to 1.5 meters in height by the age of ten. Leaves are simple, ovate, with a glossy surface, colored bright or dark green.

Inflorescences reach a diameter of 20–25 cm. The intensity of petal shade depends on soil pH level: on alkaline substrates inflorescences are pink, on acidic ones — blue or purple. The color can change during the summer season.

The variety is thermophilic, winter hardiness is limited to temperatures down to -18°C, and requires covering in temperate climates. Suitable for single and group plantings, as well as for container cultivation.
