Variety description

The variety is a low-growing shrub ranging in height from 60–80 cm to 1.2 m with a dense, upright growth habit. The leaves are medium-sized, ovate with serrated edges, and are colored medium-green.

Lacecap-type inflorescences are characterized by flowers that open vertically before fully expanding. Depending on soil acidity, the flowers can be violet-blue or pink. Flowering lasts from mid-June or July to September.

The plant has medium winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to -12 °C. The variety prefers sunny or semi-shaded areas with well-drained humous soils and requires regular watering; it is suitable for container cultivation and creating borders.
