The shrub reaches a height and width of about 90–150 cm. It is distinguished by a dense crown shape and resistance to lodging. The foliage has a characteristic chartreuse color; the inflorescences are of the mophead type and vary from white to pink or blue shades depending on soil pH.

The plant adapts well to hot, humid climates and is resistant to wind, rain, air pollution, and saline soils. It requires protection from the scorching midday sun. In hardiness zones below 6, flower buds may freeze, which can lead to a lack of flowering.

Used as an accent plant in ornamental gardening, it is suitable for borders, mass plantings, and container cultivation. The bright foliage color allows the variety to be used to visually brighten shaded areas of the garden.
