The series unites varieties characterized by remontancy, which guarantees flowering even if flower buds are damaged by winter frosts. Shrub height varies from 30 to 120 cm depending on the specific variety. The plants' shoots are distinguished by their strength, allowing them to support large inflorescences without lodging.

The plants are hybrids of Hydrangea macrophylla and Hydrangea serrata. The color of the inflorescences depends directly on the soil acidity level: in an acidic environment (pH 5.0–5.5) the flowers are colored in blue shades, in alkaline or neutral — in pink.

The series varieties are used in landscape design for creating borders, container growing, and for cut flowers. Despite increased adaptability compared to traditional Hydrangea macrophylla varieties, winter covering is recommended in regions with cold climates.
