The bush, 80–100 cm in height, forms large rounded inflorescences. A distinctive feature is the wavy, curved petals that give the flowers a screw-like appearance. The color of the inflorescences varies from blue to lilac or pink shades depending on the soil acidity level.

The plant has strong shoots resistant to lodging and is capable of blooming from June to October. The variety is a bud mutation of Hydrangea macrophylla «Magical Opal». Intended for single and group plantings, as well as for cut flowers. Prefers moist, fertile, lime-free soils.
