Variety description

The variety forms spherical inflorescences. In summer, the flowers are colored in pink or orange-pink tones, acquiring a blue tint on acidic soils. In autumn, the inflorescences change color to greenish with red speckles. The foliage is serrated, green in color.

The height of a mature shrub is 1.2–1.6 meters. The variety possesses moderate winter hardiness down to -12 °C. The plant prefers partial shade or shade, is demanding of soil moisture, and does not tolerate drying out of the soil.

Used in landscape design for creating borders, mixed plantings, and also as a specimen plant.
