The trade name «Pink Panther» often refers to the «Confetti Panther» variety from the Rendez-Vous collection. It is a compact shrub with a height of 60 to 150 cm, which blooms from June to October. It is distinguished by pink flowers with characteristic dark pink streaks, speckles, and stripes.

The plant is considered hardy, however, it has limited winter hardiness, usually down to -15°C. The variety is suitable for single and group plantings, creating borders, and growing in containers. The use of the name «Pink Panther» in relation to Hydrangea macrophylla is not a unique identifier and often causes confusion with other plant species.
