The shrub reaches a height and width of about 125 cm. The inflorescences are in the form of a spherical corymb with a diameter of 12 to 20 cm. The leaves are dense, leathery, dark green, and broadly ovate with a serrated edge.

The flowers are sterile, their color varies from pink-salmon to lilac; on acidic soils, the hue shifts to blue, and on alkaline soils to pink. Flowering lasts from June to August, and flowers are formed mainly on the previous year's shoots.

The variety is moisture-loving, resistant to diseases, and withstands temperature drops down to -23.3 °C. It is used in landscape design for single and group plantings and is suitable for container cultivation.
