Hydrangea macrophylla Punch Coco belongs to the Black Steel series. A characteristic feature of the variety is its dark purple, almost black stems. The shrub reaches a height of about 1.2 meters.

The inflorescences are of the Lace Cap type, consisting of large white flowers with a pink tint. The flowering period lasts from June to September. The plant prefers partial shade and moderately moist or moist soils.
