The plant belongs to the Black Steel series and is characterized by the presence of decorative black stems. The foliage has a dark green color, broad-ovate shape, and serrated edges. An adult bush reaches a height of about 1.25 m and a width of 1.60 m.

The inflorescences are large, spherical in shape. The shade of the flowers depends on soil acidity: in acidic soils they acquire a blue color, in alkaline soils — pink. The crop prefers moist fertile non-calcareous soils and requires protection from the impact of direct midday sun rays. Used for solitary and group garden plantings.
