Variety description

The variety is a shrub with dark green glossy leaves, which are distinguished by pronounced venation and a slightly bullate texture. Mophead-type inflorescences change color from greenish to white, maintaining this tone as they age without the appearance of spots or pink pigment.

The plant possesses high resistance to powdery mildew and is used in landscape design. The variety is an open-pollinated seedling of Hydrangea macrophylla 'Veitchii', presumably with the participation of the 'Mariesii Grandiflora' variety as the male parent.
