The variety is a compact dwarf shrub 60–90 cm tall with a dense habit and upright stems that do not lodge under the weight of the inflorescences. Foliage is dark green, glossy. Inflorescences are large, spherical in shape.
Flowering lasts from early summer until autumn. Flower color depends on soil pH level: on alkaline and neutral soils they are pink, on acidic ones — blue or purple. The variety possesses good resistance to powdery mildew and winter hardiness in USDA zones 5–6.
The plant is suitable for container cultivation, border plantings, creating hedges, and use in flower beds; the inflorescences are also suitable for cutting.
