Variety description

The shrub reaches a height of 1.60–1.80 m and forms large globose mophead-type inflorescences. Flower color varies from pink to deep blue shades depending on the soil acidity level and the presence of aluminum in the soil. The flowering period continues from July to October.

The plant is used in ornamental gardening for creating hedges, group plantings, borders, as well as for container cultivation and for dried flower arrangements. The variety has winter hardiness in the temperature range from -15 to -25 °C. The plant is susceptible to fungal diseases and pests typical for the species.
