Variety description

The shrub reaches a height of 1.2 to 1.5 m. The foliage is dark green, glossy. Mophead-type inflorescences acquire a rich reddish hue by autumn.

Flowering is abundant, lasting from early summer to early autumn. The plant prefers partial shade and moist, nutrient-rich soils, and requires regular watering. The variety is winter-hardy; in harsh winters, it requires covering.

Used in group and border plantings, container landscaping, and also used for cutting and creating dried flowers.
