Variety description

The variety belongs to the "lacecap" hydrangea group with flat, saucer-shaped inflorescences. The plant forms a broad, bushy, upright shrub with large ovate leaves, which can be leathery and glossy. The flowering period usually lasts from June or August to September.

The flower color is pink, however, the shade can change depending on soil acidity: on acidic soils they acquire a bluish or purple tone, and on neutral or alkaline soils — pink. The crop prefers partial shade and humus-rich, moisture-retentive, permeable soils.

The plant is suitable for open field cultivation as a solitaire or in group plantings, and can also be used as a container crop. The variety is characterized as winter-hardy, however, additional frost protection is required when grown in containers.
