Variety description

The variety is a Hydrangea serrata, whose inflorescences consist of fertile flowers with a reddish hue and marginal sterile flowers, the color of which varies from dark red to purple. The plant reaches a height of about 125 cm, and the flowering period occurs between June and August.

The color of the flowers depends on soil acidity: in acidic environments, they can acquire a purple tint. Flower buds are set on the previous year's shoots, so it is recommended to prune only the faded inflorescences in the spring.
