Variety description

The shrub is hemispherical, reaching a height of 0.5–1.2 m. The foliage is dark green, dense, with a characteristic gloss. The variety «Shower» is a synonym for the variety «Rotkehlchen».

Lacecap-type inflorescences have a diameter of 10–20 cm; they are flat and consist of central fertile and marginal sterile flowers. Flowering occurs from June to August on previous year's shoots.

The plant belongs to hardiness zone 7a, withstanding temperatures down to –20°C, and therefore requires winter cover and protection from winds. Suitable for cultivation in containers and small gardens.
