Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety Monaco (Stramona) is a modern breeding achievement intended for ornamental floriculture. The shrub is characterized by compact dimensions and reaches a height of 0.8 to 1.2 meters depending on growing conditions.

The plant belongs to summer-flowering varieties. The color of the inflorescences depends on the soil acidity (pH) level and can vary from blue-violet to pink shades. The variety prefers partial shade and has a cold hardiness down to -23°C.

It is important to distinguish this variety from the similarly named Stramini (Gemini), which possesses different flowering characteristics and a two-tone petal color.
