The variety is a compact shrub intended for cultivation in containers and planters, and for use in landscape design in confined spaces. The plant features strong, sturdy stems.

The flowers are characterized by a deep pink color, which can change to a rich blue depending on soil acidity. The inflorescences darken over time and develop antique shades by the end of the season.
