The variety is an ornamental plant suitable for container cultivation due to the strength of its stems. A distinctive morphological feature is the stems of a dark, almost black color.

The plant's flowers have a pink color. In terms of inflorescence appearance, the variety shows a resemblance to the Hydrangea variety Venice Raven.
