Variety description

The shrub has upright shoots, oval leaves with a serrated edge and variegated coloring. Plant height varies from 0.9 to 1.5 m in open field and up to 0.4–0.6 m when grown in containers. Lace-cap type inflorescences reach a diameter of 10 to 25 cm.

The color of the flowers changes from white and pale pink to mauve-lilac and blue depending on soil composition. The plant is moisture-loving, possesses moderate winter hardiness (USDA zone 6, down to -23 °C) and requires covering for the winter to preserve flower buds, which are set on the previous year's shoots.

The variety is used in landscape design for solitary and group plantings, terrace landscaping and is suitable for cut flowers.
