Variety description

The variety is a compact shrub 0.8–1.0 m tall and 1.1–1.2 m wide. The plant possesses strong, upright shoots and dark green ovate leaves with coarse pubescence on both sides.

Large cone-shaped inflorescences 25–35 cm long consist primarily of sterile flowers. The color of the inflorescences changes from bright lime at the beginning of flowering to white-green, and then light pink by the end of summer.

Flowering lasts from July to September. The variety is characterized by frost resistance down to –30 °C, which corresponds to hardiness zone 4. It is suitable for landscape design, container cultivation, use in cut arrangements, and as dried flowers.
