The shrub reaches a height of 1.2 to 2 meters. Upon opening, the leaves are light green with lime shades, later becoming dark green with irregular cream-white or yellowish spots. The shoots are sturdy, often colored reddish-burgundy or purple.
The inflorescences are rounded-conical panicles 15–20 cm long, consisting of fertile and sterile flowers of a white or lemon hue, which may turn pink by the end of the season. Flowering occurs on current-year shoots from July to September.
The plant prefers partial shade or diffused light, requiring regular watering to maintain the intensity of the leaf color. The variety possesses high winter hardiness and disease resistance.
