Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a compact, spreading, upright shrub. At maturity, it usually reaches 90–120 cm in height and width, with individual specimens growing up to 180 cm. The variety is characterized by a slow growth rate.

Leaves are deeply lobed, oak-like in shape. In spring, they are a bright golden-yellow color, transitioning to chartreuse in summer, and turning rich crimson-red or orange-red tones in autumn. Inflorescences are conical, 12–23 cm long, consisting of small fertile and large white sterile flowers.

The plant is recommended for USDA hardiness zones 5–9. It prefers fertile, moist, well-drained soils and protection from the scorching midday sun. Hydrangea can be affected by a number of pests and fungal diseases. The plant is poisonous if ingested, and the foliage can cause skin irritation.
