The shrub reaches a height of 1.0–2.0 m with a crown width of 1.5–2.0 m. The leaves are large, deeply lobed, dark green in summer, and turn red, burgundy, purple, or bronze shades in autumn.
The inflorescences are dense, conical or rounded, 20–30 cm long, consisting of double white flowers with a light fragrance, which gradually acquire a pinkish tint. Due to the heavy weight of the inflorescences, the shoots may droop.
Flowering is prolonged, from June–July to September–October. The plant has high winter hardiness down to -25...-26°C (USDA zone 5) and resistance to diseases and pests. The variety is used in group plantings, mixed borders, and hedges.
