The shrub is characterized by a dense spreading form and reaches a height of 0.9–1.35 m. The large dark green foliage acquires intense tones from dark purple to ruby red in autumn.
Flowering occurs on last year's shoots from June to August. Conical inflorescences 16–17 cm long are white when opening, gradually turning pink and purple by autumn. Strong shoots hold the inflorescences in an upright position even after rain.
The variety has winter hardiness of USDA zones 5–6. It is intended for single and group plantings, mixed compositions, and container cultivation. No serious problems with diseases and pests have been identified.
