Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 0.5 to 1.2 m. Leaves are narrowly oval or ovate, serrated. Inflorescences include central small fertile flowers and a ring of larger sterile flowers. Flower color varies from soft pink to lavender-blue or blue depending on soil acidity and the presence of aluminum.

Flowering is abundant, lasting from mid-June to September. The variety prefers partial shade, moist, rich, well-drained soils and withstands temperature drops down to -25°C. It is used in landscape design for borders, hedges, solitary plantings, or container cultivation.
