The 'Paris Rapa' variety is a dwarf shrub with a height of 30 to 90 cm, intended for cultivation in containers and small gardens. The plant has glossy dark green leaves and inflorescences that change shade from greenish or reddish to deep pink-red during the maturation process. Flower coloration is less dependent on soil acidity than in other representatives of the species.

The plant belongs to USDA hardiness zones 5–9 and demonstrates increased resistance to powdery mildew. The crop does not require regular pruning to maintain a compact shape, as it blooms on previous year's shoots. In general, the variety is considered relatively undemanding in care.
