The plant belongs to the species Hydrangea macrophylla, with a lacecap inflorescence type, featuring fertile flowers in the center and sterile flowers on the periphery. The compact bush reaches a height of about 30–40 cm.

The petals of the sterile flowers have a pink or blue base color depending on soil acidity and a narrow white rim. The petal edges are finely serrated. The variety is suitable for cultivation in containers and greenhouses, prefers partial shade and moist soils, and winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zone 6.
